The first part of a story is given. Continue this story and narrate the story with the correct expressions, creativity, intonation and dramatic voices.

The story narration should not be more than 2 min long.

Topics/Themes: (they can choose any 1 option and develop the story based on the topic given)

  • A box is delivered to your house. There is no sender's name on it. You open it and find…what’s inside the box? Continue this story.
  • A monkey at the zoo wants to run away from the zoo to join a circus. But he gets lost on the way. What happens to him? Continue this story.
  • You wake up one fine morning and realise that you have grown wings and that you can fly. What happens next? What will you do? Continue this story.
  • Meena gets ready to go to school on the first day of grade 5. She is excited. But when she reaches her school, it is completely empty. There's no security guard, or teachers, or students. Where is everyone? What happened? Continue this story.

Dos:

  • The maximum duration of the video is 2 minutes. File size up to 100 MB will be accepted.
  • The video should be recorded in landscape mode. The resolution of the video should be a 16:9 ratio
  • File type should be MP4 or MOV format
  • Be creative. Read through the topic and develop an interesting story based on it. There are no rules, so have fun!
  • Rewrite and edit your story again, and ensure that it doesn't have mistakes.
  • Practice narrating your story a few times.
  • While narrating, think of how the characters would feel and express that emotion through your voice and body language
  • Wear clean clothes and be well groomed while recording your video.
  • Look directly into the camera lens, when recording
  • Speak in a loud and clear voice
  • Record at a place with good light and no noise
  • Keep the video length short and crisp

Don'ts:

  • Do not copy stories from the internet. Be original. Write your own story with confidence.
  • Don’t be nervous. Remember, the goal is to have fun!
